An official in President Joe Biden's administration said that India is a key partner of America's choice in many aspects, including trade cooperation. These comments have gained importance in the context of India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval's crucial visit to America next week.

US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel made these comments while speaking to the media in Washington in response to a question about Dobal's visit. He said that enhancing security cooperation with India is also part of the relations between the two countries. He said that this includes technical cooperation. He said that India-US relations are very important to them.
